Issues with Xenapp hangs and the Citrix telemetry service

The above service is a recent addition in the Xenapp world and relates to the Call home technology service that Citrix have set up. Indeed will see the “call home” option during installation of the later releases of Xenapp that have come online (7.8,7.9 and 7.11 at time of writing)

One thing that does seem to have popped up particularly in PVS and MCS environments that on occasion issues can occur relating to this service – see related thread:

So something to keep an eye on if not needed best to disable the service.
